Polyamorous Percolations blogger Alan believes a recent lawsuit filed by the “Sister Wives” family of Kody Brown and wives Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn, to overturn Utah’s bigamy statute, will indirectly benefit secular poly households as well. Brown and his four wives, stars of the TLC series, want to decriminalize the way many Mormon fundamentalist families have chosen to live, “free from government intrusion…just loving each other.” The Polyamory Leadership Network has been following this case closely, saying it is an exciting development, and that it has the potential for major impact on polyamorous households across the United States.
