Fulfill all of your requirements to become an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist designation through coursework, supervision, and professional support at ISTI. The Integrative Sex Therapy Institute can provide options for all aspects and Core Knowledge Areas / Content Areas needed to apply for your CST.
The Certified Sex Therapist (CST) training certification is available by application to AASECT. The basic requirements for CST are listed below and you can find more information on this page that will assist you in locating the requirements for certification.
Cost for coursework toward AASECT Certified Sex Therapist

- Coursework included:
- 90 hours in Sex Education
- 60 hours in Sex Therapy
- 14 hours SAR (Info here, held once a year)
- 300 hours of Clinical work (no additional fees)
- 1 hr AASECT Application Consultation
Total Coursework: 164 hours
- 50 hours Supervision – Paid separately to a certified supervisor.
How do I enroll with ISTI for AASECT certification?
Important Info on Tuition
- Estimates are calculated without transfer credits for the student.
- 15 hours of Integrative Therapy Courses must be taken through ISTI.
- AASECT limits the amount of eLearn you may take for certification and aspects of supervision. Please check www.aasect.org for information about your certification requirements.
