An ISTI CSCT Supervisor offers supervision for the Certified Sex and Couples Therapist (CSCT) designation and the Certified AASECT Sex Therapist, Counselor, or Educator, depending on their specialty training.

The ISTI-certified CSCT supervisor is a post-graduate level licensed clinical mental health provider with a proficient level of expertise in both sexuality and relationship therapy who has trained with the Integrative Sex Therapy Institute and done advanced training as a post-graduate in specialized areas of supervision in their own field of study as well as sex therapy and integrative relationship therapy. The ISTI CSCT Supervisor is also well-versed in a range of contemporary integrative alternative treatment interventions.

The ISTI CSCT Supervisor is versed in countertransference and the self as therapist.

An ISTI supervisor offers you:

Tammy Nelson, Ph.D. is the Director of the Integrative Sex Therapy Institute and has been a licensed sex and relationship therapist in practice for over thirty years. She teaches at several Universities, is a TEDx speaker, and is the host of the podcast The Trouble with Sex. Tammy is a Board Certified Sexologist, an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Imago Relationship therapist, and a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.

Daniel Rosen, LCSW-R, CST, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST) has been in practice for over 25 years working with a variety of populations. He completed training with the Optimal Sexual Experiences Research Team of the University of Ottawa in November 2019 and has been active in the Rochester Area Group Psychotherapy Society, the Center for Group Studies, and is a sex therapy supervisor in training. He has an independent private practice including group, individual, and couples counseling as well as providing treatment services for the Rochester Center for Sexual Wellness.

Gail Guttman, LCSW, has been a Certified Imago Therapist since 1994 and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist since 1984. She has been twice recognized by Washingtonian magazine as a “Top Therapist” in sex and couples therapy. Gail is also an AASECT CE Provider, AASECT Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor and an Imago Clinical Consultant. She is passionate about helping therapists to integrate couples and sex therapy and welcomes different theoretical orientations in order to help each therapist find their own path.

Therapists who receive consultation with Gail experience a welcoming approach to all types of theories, as well as an opportunity to integrate different theoretical frameworks.
