Elloa Atkinson’s article for Huffington Post, “I love my husband but here’s why I want to cheat” went viral.
I had the pleasure of interviewing Elloa on the Imago Think Tank. During our interview she talked about being transparent, vulnerable and emotionally accountable in her relationship. She talked about being radically curious and honest with herself, using transparency as a tool to get closer to her husband.
She got some negative feedback for her article, readers asked her how she could talk so publicly about her desire for an affair. And they were afraid that it would shame her husband as well. Yet being so honest and transparent created a new honesty in their relationship that actually prevented a real affair.
