How To Save A Marriage After An Affair

Through the lifetime of your marriage you have many different marriages with the same person, but after an affair one person has stepped out of your monogamy agreement and therein lies the end of that ‘marriage.’ This is why you are grieving. Understanding this idea will help you move forward and I explain how in a recent YouTube video featured by Kids in the House.

Last week, I hosted a webcast titled The Monogamy Continuum, which is part of a Psychotherapy Networker webcast series, The Changing Face of Marriage. We explored guidelines for helping couples understand, define and negotiate the personal boundaries of fidelity and betrayal. This is a fantastic, 6-part series I encourage you to hear! When you sign up, you will be able to access the entire series for a year.

You can also read more about this approach in my book The New Monogamy.
