Communication for Passion and Connection

Relationships have their own intimate language—the way we show love or feel loved can be intimate, passionate, erotic. Our relationships can be a way to find pleasure, to feel relaxed and safe, and even be a path to spiritual enlightenment and connection. They can also be a place of conflict and power struggle. Even in the best of times, good relationships don’t just happen. It takes focus to improve not just your companionship and daily life but the erotic part of your relationship.
In a safe workshop setting experience authentic communication to create intimacy and connection with your partner using written exercises, guided imagery, lecture, dialogue, light touch, and movement. Expertly guided by internationally acclaimed psychotherapist, sexologist, sex therapist, and Imago Relationship Therapist, Dr. Tammy Nelson, you will:
- Learn to talk openly about your most intimate wants and desires, and explore what it means to ask for those needs to be met
- Discover intimacy as a sacred practice for connection within and with your partner
- Let go of anger and frustration, and heal from past betrayal and resentments
- Define and enhance your fantasies and discover what it means to give and receive pleasure.
This workshop, based on years of clinical work and research, honors the erotic space as a spiritual space. You’ll find a deeper level of intimacy and greater joy in your life together.
Note All sharing in this workshop is optional. There is no nudity, or sexual contact between participants during the workshop. This retreat is a safe space run by a trained and licensed psychotherapist and certified sex therapist with more 30 years of experience.
This program is open to all couples, and may be of particular interest to therapists and couples counselors.
