Dr. Lori Brotto brings her expertise in integrative therapy to ISTI with this deep dive into mindfulness. Designed for advanced practitioners who are looking for a way to reach reactive clients, mindfulness teaches us how to notice patterns of thoughts that lead to irrationality and anxiety.

In this training, participants will:

    • Describe mindfulness as it is used in conventional therapy sessions;
    • Discuss the science of mindful sex with a particular focus on women’s sexual health issues;
    • Select individuals who might best benefit for mindfulness-based sex therapy;
    • Apply mindfulness practice to your own life
